Music for Max is an annual fundraising gig organised in collaboration with Artists for Kids Culture.

This year we’re bringing it back to the West for a festive season mini-fest. In celebration of our loved and much missed friend Max Lee-Ack, all proceeds go directly to supporting young people across Melbourne to access music lessons and purchase instruments. Come for the music, stay for the sweet raffle prizes!
About Max
Max was a musician, playing in numerous bands in high school. His passion for music extended beyond high school and he was renowned amongst his friends for his eclectic music taste. Making playlists and mix-tapes for everyone he knew.

MfM honours Max Lee-Ack who died by suicide in early 2021, aged 25. All funds raised go to kids grants specifically to play music – in Melbourne’s West – all regions.
